★ [Scholarship for Overseas Chinese Students] Application for the Ministry of Education Financial Aid for Economically Disadvantaged Overseas Chinese Students for Academic Year 115 (Application Period: August 24 – September 18, 115, deadline at 12:00 PM)
⭐ Principles of Subsidy
- Quota: Based on the quota approved by the Ministry of Education.
- Amount: NT$3,000 per student per month, disbursed monthly. The subsidy is granted for one year at a time (from September of the current year to August of the following year). For graduating students, the subsidy will be granted until June of the following year.
- Termination Conditions:
- If a student takes a leave of absence, withdraws, graduates, changes academic status, loses student identity, or is expelled after approval, the subsidy will be terminated starting from the following month. Subsidies disbursed after the 15th of the month will not be reclaimed.
(If you receive the subsidy and later take leave, withdraw, or receive other scholarships, please report proactively.) - If falsified or inaccurate documents are found to be submitted, the subsidy will be revoked and reclaimed, and legal responsibility will be pursued.
- If the student receives any disciplinary action (reprimand or above) in the academic year, the subsidy will be terminated starting the month after the school’s official announcement.

(The following 3 steps must be completed for the application to be considered valid)

(Download and fill in the attached documents before proceeding with the online application. Arrange documents in order and label each required proof item listed in Form 3. Incomplete or unlabeled applications will not be accepted.)

Supporting Documents Required in Form 3
(All non-Chinese/English documents must be translated and certified. Please label all files with their names in Chinese.)
- Hospital certificate or receipts (2026) for cohabiting family members. The document must include any of the following phrases:
- “long-term treatment for serious illness”
- “physical/mental disabilities”
- “serious illness or physical/mental disabilities requiring long-term treatment”
If all family members are healthy, this document is not required.
- Official overseas financial certificate or low-income certificate (2026)
- Must be issued by a unit recognized by the Overseas Community Affairs Council.
- Enrollment certificate, student ID, or transcript (2026) for cohabiting family members who are students.
- Not required if no family member is currently studying.
- Certificates of club leadership or outstanding performance (2026)
- Not required if none.
Step 2: Complete Online Application
Scan the above documents into a single PDF file and upload it.

Step 3: Submit Hard Copies
Submit the physical documents from Step 1 to the Office of International Affairs.
Submission Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00–12:00 / 13:30–17:00
**Important Notes for First-Year Students
As the application for an Alien Resident Certificate (ARC) may require additional processing time, first-year students who are unable to submit a copy of their ARC by the application deadline may submit it as a supplementary document at a later date.
Please note that this arrangement applies only to first-year students who have successfully submitted the completed hard-copy application form by the application deadline.
Similarly, if a copy of the bankbook cannot be provided by the application deadline due to account-opening procedures or other related processing requirements, it may also be submitted as a supplementary document at a later date.
