Taiwan-Europe Semiconductor Scholarship
National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) is committed to cultivating cross-disciplinary professionals who merge technical proficiency with global insight, driving innovation in the semiconductor industry. In collaboration with Taiwan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and leading Taiwanese universities, this scholarship program supports students from Central and Eastern Europe in pursuing semiconductor-related studies in Taiwan.
1. Hold citizenship of The Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Lithuania, Kosovo, or Albania.
2. Be enrolled in a Semiconductor Related Program on a Master's or Doctoral level. For Exchange/Visiting Students, Undergraduate level second year and above.
3. Be enrolled in at least one semiconductor course listed in NTNU Semiconductor Credit Program this semester.
4. Have not previously pursued the same degree level in Taiwan (For degree student applicants).
5. Never had a scholarship revoked by a Taiwan government agency or institution.
6. Not receive any other scholarships, stipends, or grants from the Taiwan government, institution, or university during the award period.

This scholarship is exclusive; no concurrent awards allowed.
Semiconductor Credit Program Scholarship
•International/ Overseas Chinese Undergraduate or Master's students.
•Undergraduate or Master's-level students enrolled in a dual-degree program with NTNU.
•Have completed at least 21 credits in semiconductor-related courses taught in either Chinese or English by Semester 114-1 (inclusive)
•Academic GPA of 2.44 or above and conduct score of 87 or above in Semester 114-1.
•All majors are eligible; however, students majoring in semiconductor or science and engineering-related fields will be given priority consideration.
•Phase 1: March 23 - April 10, 2026.
•Phase 2: Open exclusively to Phase 1 award recepients. Applications are expected to be accepted starting May 2026.
1. Completed application form (Email the Word file to Gladys and submit original signed copy to OIA)
2. Official transcripts for all completed semesters (Highlight the courses listed in the Semiconductor Courses List)
3. Conduct Score Conversion Certificate for 114-1 semester
4. One recommendation letter from your department faculty (sealed as per announcement format)
5. A final project report or outcome report from a "Semiconductor manufacturing processes" related course
6. Photocopy of valid Alien Resident Certificate (ARC)
7. Photocopy of the applicant's bank passbook cover
Please submit the above documents in hard copy to the Office of International Affairs by April 10, 2026.
Phase 21. Copy of TOCFL Level B2 (or above) Listening & Reading Certificate
2. Proof of application to the TSMC DNA Internship Program
Submit the above documents via email to gladys@ntnu.edu.tw by May 31, 2026
• The application is reviewed by the International Affairs Office Review Committee in accordance with relevant regulations. Results are announced in May, and awards are issued in June.
• Phase 1 recipients receive a scholarship of NT$70,000.
• Applicants who also apply for Phase 2 and meet the eligibility requirements will receive an additional NT$20,000.
• Students who are expected to graduate this semester and wish to apply for this award should note that if they complete their school-leaving procedures before the award is issued, they will be deemed to have automatically forfeited their eligibility to receive the award.
• Applicants must ensure all documents are complete. Submitting false or forged documents will result in disqualification and repayment of any awarded funds.
• This scholarship cannot be combined with Taiwan-Europe Semiconductor Scholarship.
