DLSU Vice President Visits NTNU to Explore Educational Cooperation
On March 30, 2026, Professor Dr. Anthony Shun Fung Chiu, Vice President for External Relations and Internationalization of De La Salle University (DLSU), Manila, Philippines, paid a courtesy visit to National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU). He was received by Professor Hsiu-Mei Hsieh, NTNU Associate Vice President for International Affairs.
During the visit, VP Chiu introduced DLSU and highlighted its standing as one of the top three universities in the Philippines, noting in particular the distinction of its College of Education as one of the country's leading teacher education institutions. He expressed his high regard for NTNU and conveyed DLSU's interest in deepening cooperation between the two universities, with a focus on the field of education.
AVP Hsieh warmly welcomed the proposal, noting that while NTNU has grown into a comprehensive university, teacher education remains a core part of its identity and mission.
The visit marks a positive step toward strengthening academic ties between DLSU and NTNU, with both parties expressing mutual interest in future collaboration.
