★【Overseas Chinese Student Scholarship】 Overseas Community Affairs Council "2025 Overseas Chinese Student Council Chairperson’s Award Scholarship"(Deadline: 2025/02/25 - 03/10, 12:00 PM)

Application Target & Eligibility

  1. Application Target: Overseas Chinese students and students from Hong Kong and Macao who are graduating from college or university (excluding master's and doctoral students).
    Eligibility for this scholarship is based on the prescribed study period set by each school. Students who have been retained, repeated courses, or delayed graduation are not eligible to apply.
  2. Eligibility Criteria:
    (1) Academic performance during the years of study (from the 110th academic year to the 113th academic year, first semester, excluding the second semester of the 113th academic year): Average score of 88 or above (GPA 3.94) or in the top 5% of the department.
    (2) Conduct performance during the years of study (from the 110th academic year to the 113th academic year, first semester, excluding the second semester of the 113th academic year): Conduct score of 80 or above for each semester.

Subsidy Principles

  1. Amount and Quota: NT$50,000 for each awardee. Our school may recommend one student.
  2. Award Ceremony and Report Writing:
    (1) The Overseas Community Affairs Council will hold an award ceremony to publicly recognize the award recipients, who will receive both digital and printed certificates.
    (2) Award winners must write a reflection on their study experience in Taiwan, in the local language (students from Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Macao must write in Mandarin Chinese), and provide one photo of their daily life, which will be published in the Overseas Community Affairs electronic newsletter.

Application Period: From 2025/02/25 (Tuesday) to 2025/03/10 (Monday), 12:00 PM.
(Late or incomplete submissions will not be accepted!!)

Please submit the following required documents in paper form to the International Affairs Office. Incomplete or late submissions will not be accepted.
International Affairs Office submission hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 AM - 12:00 PM, 1:30 PM - 5:00 PM. Submissions outside these hours will not be accepted.
