China Academy of Art Visits NTNU

On June 25th, Prof. Xiao-Yang Cao, Director of Academic Affairs; Prof. Yi-Fei Wang, Deputy Director of Office of Research and Industry, Deputy Director of Office of Graduate Student Affairs; Prof. Zheng-Da Chen, Associate Dean of College of Design; and Prof. Ying-Ying Wang, Deputy Director of Office of Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan affairs from China Academy of Art visited NTNU. Prof. Hsiang-Lin Liu, Vice President of Office of International Affairs; Prof. Huei-Ling Chao, Dean, College of Fine Arts; Prof, Chien-Cheng Liu, Chair, Department of Design; Prof, Yi-Hua Sun, Professor, Department of Fine Arts; and Ms. Wan-Yun Chung, Assistant, College of Fine Arts welcomed the guests in person.

China Academy of Art is one of the best university of arts in China. It has become partner school with NTNU since 2010, and both sides have had numerous academic cooperation since then. This time, the purpose of their visit is to discuss about the renewal of agreements, and the content of “Cross-Strait Young Artists Exhibition and Forum” in September, which is held by them. This event will exhibit the masterpieces of students from Taiwan and China, and also hold some workshops and forums to facilitate the interaction and exchange between students. During the courtesy call, the two sides discussed about how to transport and how to demonstrate the art works, everyone engaged in profound discussion, the guests had a great time in NTNU.
