East China Normal University Visits NTNU

On May 29th, Prof. Chang-Li Yang, Vice President; Prof. Jia Yu, Director of Office of Student Work; Prof. He-Xiang Xing, Director of the Alumni Work Office and Secretary General of the Alumni Association; Prof. Tao Tang, Archives Curator; Prof. Ping Zhang, Chief of Office of Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan affairs; Prof. Fei Wang, Project manager, Office of Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan affairs from East China Normal University visited NTNU. Prof. Yung-Hsiang Ying, Executive Vice President; Prof. Chih-Chien Lai, Associate Vice President of Office of Student Affairs; Prof. Hao-Ren Ke, University Librarian; Prof. Ming-Chieh Chang, Vice Dean of Office of Teacher Education and Careers Service; Prof. Min-Ping Kang, Director of Center of Public Affairs; and Ms. Roxane Weng, Director, Division of Recruitment and Development from Office of International Affairs welcomed the guests in person.

East China Normal University has become partner school with NTNU since 2010, and both sides have had numerous academic cooperation since then. This time, the main purpose for their visit was to discuss about some administrative strategies in NTNU, such as the operation of Honors College, the preservation of history and archives, the training of pre-service teachers, and the alumni relationship management. Therefore, during the courtesy call, Prof. Chih-Chien Lai, Prof. Hao-Ren Ke, Prof. Ming-Chieh Chang, and Prof. Min-Ping Kang introduced respectively their duties to the guests, sharing their experiences and opinions in relevant issues. The two sides engaged in profound discussion, everyone had a great time in NTNU.
