International Visitors

On December 1, 2025, Professor Tristan McCowan, Vice Dean (International) of the UCL Institute of Education (UCL IOE), visited National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU) for the first time to discuss future collaboration.

 

Participants included Professor Yi-De Liu, Vice President for International Affairs; Professor Hsiu-Mei Hsieh, Associate Vice President for International Affairs; Professor Silvia Wen-Yu Lee, Associate Dean of the College of Education; and Professor Tzu-Bin Lin, Distinguished Professor from the Department of Education.

 

Professor McCowan and Professor Lee each gave a brief introduction on UCL IOE and NTNU’s College of Education, respectively, outlining their academic strengths and establishing a foundation for exploring new areas of cooperation.

 

UCL IOE and NTNU have been partners since May 2020. Earlier this year, in January 2025, an NTNU delegation visited UCL to discuss expanding joint initiatives. Professor McCowan’s visit further underscores both institutions’ commitment to strengthening their partnership.
