Nihon University
Nihon University, celebrating the 120th anniversary, originated from Nihon Law School, which was established in 1889. Since its foundation, the university has maintained its forefront at the forefront of university education and research with a global perspective and an enterprising spirit.
As an attractive university with a wide range of fields of study, Nihon University has been involved in not only education and research, but also health care, lifelong education, and numerous other activities contributing to the development of society.

Yamagata University

A major comprehensive national teaching and research university in northeastern Japan, Yamagata University enrolls about 10,000 undergraduate and graduate students at its thirteen academic divisions on its four college campuses spread throughout the Yamagata region. YU offers programs in the fields of agriculture, arts and humanities, education, engineering, medicine, natural science, nursing, and social sciences.

Chukyo University

Chukyo University will celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2014, and the Umemura Group of Educational Institutions, the university’s parent organization, is marking its 90th anniversary this year in 2013. I was recently installed as the fourth chairman of the Umemura Group, and I keenly feel the weight of the responsibility of my new post. Constant innovation has fueled the advancement of Chukyo University in the past, and it will continue to drive us forward into the future. I am committed to doing everything in my power to implement “Next 10,” our new long-term plan drafted with an eye to pioneering a new era in education at the university.

Chukyo University today is a comprehensive university with eleven undergraduate schools and eleven graduate schools, including professional schools in business and law. This spring saw the launch of our School of Engineering with the restructuring of the School of Information Science and Technology. The School of Engineering has four departments, including the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. In spring 2014, the Department of Japanese History and Culture will start up at the School of Letters, and the School of World Englishes will adopt a new framework under which it will offer three majors. In these many ways, Chukyo University continues to take strides forward.

The International University of Kagoshima

The International University of Kagoshima was founded in1932 by Teisuke Tsumagari(1879-1949) as the first institution of higher education for commerce and economics in Kagoshima.

 
His successor, Sadao Tsumagari (1915-1983), set up the faculty of sociology, which became the faculty of social welfare in April 2001.
 
The Tsumagari family's 3rd-generation representative, Sadaharu Tsumagari(1919-2003), established the graduate school and faculty of intercultural studies.
 
The university integrates a graduate school, 3 faculties, Australia,Canada,China,South Korea, Taiwan,Thailand,United States, and United Kingdom.
