Far Eastern Federal University Visits NTNU

On May 6th, Prof. Felix Azhimov, Dean, School of Arts and Humanities from Far Eastern Federal University visited NTNU. Prof. Yi-De Liu, Associate Vice President of Office of International Affairs and Prof. Shyue-Cherng Liaw, Vice Dean, College of Liberal Arts welcomed the guests in person.

Far Eastern Federal University has become partner school with NTNU since 2017, and both sides have had numerous academic cooperation since then. This time, the main purpose for Prof. Felix Azhimov’s visit was to exchange ideas about several fields of humanities like archeology, history, philosophy, sociology, art management, and regional studies, hoping to intensify the cooperation between Far Eastern Federal University and NTNU. Therefore, during the courtesy call, the two sides examined departments in both universities, trying to explore how the cooperation can be worked on in more substantive way. Meanwhile, the two sides also proposed other cooperation possibilities, like seminar, one-week camp, visit and faculty exchange, in order to motivate more faculties and students to exchange with one another. Everyone engaged in profound discussion, the guests had a great time in NTNU.
