Northeast Normal University Visits NTNU

On March 20th, the Associate Vice President for International Affairs, Office of International Affairs, Dean of the College of Arts, Dean of the College of Music, and the International Exchange Section Manager from the Office of International Affairs of Northeast Normal University visited NTNU. Prof. Chi-Yo Huang, the Associate Vice President for International Affairs, Office of International Affairs welcomed them in person.

During the courtesy call, both representatives from their universities exchange ideas on possible academic exchanges and cooperation in the future. According to the Associate Vice President for International Affairs, Office of International Affairs, he emphasized that NTNU was the very first university in Taiwan that Northeast Normal University cooperates with. Thus, it has been a long academic exchange history and partnership between the two, which he regards this as a precious relationship.

In addition, the Dean of the College of Arts from Northeast Normal University mentioned about the new Art Museum that NTNU just finished its completion a month ago. According to Prof. Chi-Yo Huang, he explained that the reason why this Art Museum was built is due to the former President's idea. According to the former President, Kuo-En Chang, this Art Museum allows many excellent artworks created by NTNU students and graduates from the College of Arts to be promoted and to be seen.

On the basis of Prof. Chi-Yo Huang's words, Dean of the College of Arts from Northeast Normal University replied that they were also planning to build an art museum. Hopefully, students from both universities could exchange their ideas and artworks, therefore having further cooperation in the near future.
